This Barrel cabinet table was a custom order from a returning customer to match his custom bar. He wanted an additional item for his treasured slot machine to enhance his entertaining space. It has a built-in shelf with a matching live edge tabletop and plenty of space for additional snacks and beverages .
This custom bar has a beautiful handcrafted live edge countertop created on a base fabricated from a single barrel cut in half. It has a beautiful foot rail fabricated from an old antique handrail. The shelves on the back are lit with motion sensor lights and it has a built-in bottle opener. It sits on top of six crafted feet to elevate the bar off of the floor. This bar is a focal point in its new home.
This custom table was created from a bourbon barrel provided by the customer and thoughtfully transformed into a one-of-a-kind centerpiece.
The design preserves as much of the barrel’s original character as possible. The natural patina, grain variations, markings, and metal bands are carefully retained and highlighted, allowing the story of the barrel to remain front and center. Every imperfection is embraced, giving the table its authentic, timeworn appeal.
To complement the rich tones of the barrel, a custom light-colored tabletop was handcrafted to to the customers exact specifications. The top provides a beautiful contrast that enhances both the rustic base and their surrounding space.
The result is a harmonious balance of old and new where function meets harmony.
